If you’ve ever looked for a managed portfolio service, you’ll know there’s no shortage of options on the market.
Most follow a broadly similar approach – investing in a mix of actively and passively managed bond and equity funds. The Wealth Club Portfolio Service is different. We also seek out investment trusts and investment companies (essentially the equivalent of investment trusts outside the UK).
So why does that matter?
By casting the net wider, we’re able to access markets like Private Equity and Infrastructure. We believe these offer the potential to bolster returns and diversify a typical portfolio, giving investors a competitive advantage.
Granted, you might be able to access some of these assets through, say, a private bank portfolio. But you’re also likely to pay a premium for the privilege. We’re not aware of another online service that offers the same breadth of opportunities at a comparable cost.
This article highlights three ‘gems’ held within the Wealth Club Portfolio Service: world-class investments in our view, and ones you’re unlikely to find in any other comparable managed portfolio. These are examples of what we believe makes our approach distinctive and are not personal recommendations to invest.
Important: The information on individual company shares represents the view of Jonathan Moyes as portfolio manager and provides an insight into his investment selection process. It is not a personal recommendation to buy, sell or hold shares in any company. Jonathan personally invests in the Wealth Club Portfolio Service. The Portfolios are for the long term and can fall as well as rise in value: returns are not guaranteed.

A different type of wealth management service
To sum up, the Wealth Club Portfolio Service is unlike many other managed portfolios.
We’re nimble enough to own investment trusts and listed investment companies, our portfolios look further afield, and we focus on backing world-class specialists.
This can help us uncover some real gems.
Investments like the ones we’ve mentioned in this article are unusual for a managed portfolio. We believe “gems” like these offer scope for long-term capital growth. They’re also less correlated to the wider market than mainstream equity funds – adding potentially valuable diversification to a typical investor’s portfolio.
We’re not aware of a comparable online service that can match this.
The Wealth Club Portfolio Service: investing with a long-term lens
The Wealth Club Portfolio Service offers investors well-diversified portfolios that are managed by experts. These are the types of portfolios a private bank or wealth manager might build for you. But minus the hefty price tag that often comes with those services.
You simply choose the level of risk you’re comfortable with – and we’ll do the rest. The service is completely hands-off and takes the hassle out of investing. Note this is not personal investment advice: you choose the portfolio you think is right for you.
