The UK’s second largest emergency and critical care referral centre
The Ralph is an independent, multidisciplinary, specialist veterinary referral hospital for small animals, based in Marlow, Buckinghamshire. It provides 24-7-365 emergency and critical care (ECC), in addition to other specialist referral services for cats and dogs referred by local vets.
Opened in February 2019, The Ralph is the UK’s second largest animal emergency and critical care referral centre. It sees over 4,000 new patients a year, with staff of more than 200 (July 2022). As a critical-care specialist vet, founder Shailen Jasani could see the growth potential of the veterinary referral market and the geographic opportunity to provide expert care in the M4-M40 corridor. It has been his vision to offer an excellent level of care for pets, at a reasonable price, in a compassionate environment – hence the strapline ‘A Centre of Excellence + Compassion’.
