Q-Bot EIS – existing shareholders

This overview is provided to make it easier for you to form your own view about the opportunity. This is a company for which Wealth Club has previously raised capital.

What Wealth Club has done: we have reviewed the information provided by the Company and done our own research. Note: this doesn’t constitute an audit.

What to expect post-investment: the Company should provide bi-annual updates for Wealth Club to distribute to shareholders. The Company may also communicate with shareholders directly, however Wealth Club Nominees, which holds the shares, will be responsible for all corporate resolutions and communications relating to voting and pre-emption matters.

Q-Bot Limited ("Q-Bot") uses a robot to insulate the underfloor voids in houses, improving homeowners’ and tenants’ quality of life, reducing heat loss, increasing energy efficiency and helping decarbonise the housing stock. The insulation – which doesn’t require the lifting or removal of floorboards – could be applicable to 10 million homes in the UK and many more in the US and EU.

During H1 2024, Q-Bot made three new senior appointments to strengthen the management team: Victor Vadaneaux (Executive Chair), Malcolm Groat (Investment Director) and Matt Tillet (CFO).

Victor Vadaneaux has now completed his initial review of the business, its market and the potential he sees for Q-Bot. You can read his comments in his first shareholder communication.

Shareholders are invited to a webinar on 11 June at 2pm where Victor, Malcolm and Matt will present their initial assessment of the business and plans to accelerate growth as well as answer your questions.

Please register your interest and submit any questions you have.

Important: The information on this website is for experienced investors. It is not a personal recommendation to invest. If you’re unsure, please seek advice. Investments are for the long term. They are high risk and illiquid and can fall as well as rise in value: you could lose all the money you invest. The overview provided is based on the information made available to Wealth Club by the Company. Wealth Club has reviewed such information but not verified or audited it.

Investment summary

As mentioned in the previous shareholder communication (March 2024), Q-Bot continues to look to raise the capital management believes is required to bring the business to profit. The Company is now seeking to raise £3 million under an EIS-qualifying Advanced Subscription Agreement (ASA) and existing shareholders can participate.

Almost £1 million has already been raised by a combination of new and existing investors including Alert Ventures  - a US early-stage family office run by John Lert, an exited robotics founder focussing on Robotics and Climate tech investing.

More details on the round will be covered in the webinar,  and an online application and offer documents will be available on this page after the webinar.

Risks – important

This, like all investments available through Wealth Club, is only for experienced investors happy to make their own investment decisions without advice.

This kind of investment is high risk so should only form part of a balanced portfolio and you should not invest money you cannot afford to lose. They also tend to be illiquid and hard to sell and value.

Before you invest, please carefully read the available information available to download from this page, which contain further details on the offer alongside the Wealth Club Risks and Commitments.

This is a single company offer with no diversification. It involves investing in an early-stage, loss-making business, which is by nature high risk and could fail. You could lose the amount you invest.

Wealth Club does not take a seat on the board so cannot influence the business the same way as is usually the case with institutional investors taking a full board position.

An exit could take longer than management expects.

Wealth Club aims to make it easier for experienced investors to find information on – and apply for – investments. You should base your investment decision on the offer documents and ensure you have read and fully understand them before investing. The information on this webpage is a marketing communication. It is not advice or a personal or research recommendation to buy any of the investments mentioned, nor does it include any opinion as to the present or future value or price of these investments. It does not satisfy legal requirements promoting investment research independence and is thus not subject to prohibitions on dealing ahead of its dissemination.
