Amplify Music SEIS – manager interview
Amplify Music makes SEIS-qualifying investments in the music business. Each fund (this year’s is the sixth) invests in up to five recording artists and is structured so as to benefit from all the various types of revenue an artist can generate, in an industry that is less and less dependent on record sales.
In this exclusive interview with Tom Bywater, founder of Amplify, we ask: how does this work for investors? How do the managers source the right talent? Is media a risky area to invest in? What kind of returns can investors hope to achieve? Alex Davies, founder and chief executive of Wealth Club, interviews Tom Bywater to find out.
